We’re pleased to announce the City of Heroes and Villains referral program. Receive a FREE month of game time on your City of Heroes and/or Villains account when you recruit a friend who goes on to become a subscriber.
You can invite up to four friends at a time to play City of Heroes and City of Villains free for 10 days! Form a team with them and show them the sights of the comic book world of Paragon City and the Rogue Isles. If all four friends decide to become paying subscribers, you’ll get four free months of City of Heroes and Villains game time credited to your account!
To find out more about this offer, simply log into your PlayNC Account Management page and click the ACCOUNT DETAILS button of the City of Heroes and/or Villains game account you wish to receive the referral credit to. Then look for the REFER A FRIEND button located in the Account section. Clicking that button will provide you with all the information you need to begin inviting friends immediately.
You’ll be able to track each friend’s invite status by logging in to your PlayNC Account Management page.
Each invite is valid for 30 days from being sent, so make sure your friends don’t miss out on their chance to fight for justice - or against it - in City of Heroes and Villains!
You’ll receive a new invite to send to more friends when one of your friends uses a retail code to upgrade their trial to a full account, or 60 days after you send an invite, if it’s not used or not upgraded to a full account.
Please note, in order to receive your referral credit, your friend must upgrade the trial account started with your invite with a full account code, either from a boxed version of the game, purchased directly from PlayNC, or a ‘buddy code’, and must do so within 30 days of the invite being sent. You’ll receive your referral credit when your friend pays their first subscription fee, or when they start using time from an NCsoft Game Time card.
* This offer is void where prohibited and is subject to server space availability. This offer can be suspended by NCsoft Europe Ltd at any time and for any reason. At the time of the referral credit, both the referring and referred customer must be current in their payments and in compliance with the City of Heroes and Villains User Agreement. If both parties are not current and in compliance, the referral credit will be denied. If a referring customer cancels their account, all remaining referral credits are forfeit. The referral credit cannot be refunded. A referral credit has no cash value.
