The 14-day trial code can only be used to create a new account, it cannot be applied to an existing City of Heroes or City of Villains account.

To activate your free trial, you need to do just three things - simply follow these instructions and you will be playing in no time!

2. Create a valid PlayNC Master Account and apply your trial code
3. Install the game

Obtaining your trial code

To get your hands on a trial code, please enter your age and email address below and we will send you an email containing a link to a page containing your unique trial code.

Life after Trial

At the end of the 14 days, you may choose to purchase the City of Heroes Good vs. Evil Combined Edition (includes both games, for one subscription fee),, either directly from the PlayNC Store or any leading games retailer.

That purchase will have another month of play time included, and subsequent months can be paid for using Game Time Cards (purchased at retail) or using a valid credit/debit card on the PlayNC website. You will be able to continue using your character(s) from the initial trial.
