We’re pleased to announce that the City of Heroes Collectible Card Game from Alderac Entertainment has been named ‘Best CCG’ in the Inquest Gamer magazine 2006 Fan Awards. For more information, you can see the press release over at the CoH CCG official site.

The City of Heroes CCG was released in Europe and the US in January this year. If you’d like to give it a try, you can download the rules and some demo decks from the official site, including decks for Statesman, Positron and Synapse.

New information reaches us from the Rogue Isles, of a towering ‘vertical zone’ known as Grandville:

Rising from the gritty streets, slate grey buildings ascend into the sky, blotting out the sun and driving Grandville into the blackness of perpetual night. Among the shadows, the city is a dense jungle of skyscrapers linked together by walkways and bridges.  Below are the castaways, infiltrators, and mutated creatures too terrible to mention. Above are the less wild but more cunning hunters, like spiders waiting to pounce.
