NCsoft Europe On Tour, May 2007!

27 Apr, 2007

Come and see us at Collectormania 11 and the Bristol Comic Expo.

imageThis May will see the NCsoft Europe community team at not one but two shows in the UK, where you’ll be able to meet members of your community teams, grab some free swag - including brand new and exclusive City of Heroes and City of Villains badges pictured here - and pick up copies of our games at bargain prices - including limited Collector’s Editions and other hard to find versions. At the Bristol Comic Expo, you’ll also be able to get sketches of your characters from famous comic artists, arranged by Draw the World Together.

First up is…

Where: thecentre:mk, Milton Keynes
When: Friday, 4 May and Saturday, 5 May
Who: Rockjaw

The mighty Rockjaw, NCsoft Europe’s Game Services Manager and (mostly) benevolent master of us all, will be attending Collectormania 11 on the Friday and Saturday (the show itself, which is free to enter, also runs through Sunday, 6 May and Monday, 7 May). He’ll probably be lonely without his usual minions (ie, us) to boss around, so be sure to pop along and say hello. If you ask him nicely, he might even throw some free stuff your way, and will have a selection of NCsoft games available at unbelievable prices.

While you’re at Collectormania, you’ll also be able to get autographs and even pictures with a veritable galaxy of television and movie stars, including Superman himself, Brandon Routh, the lovably nasty James Masters (Buffy, Angel, Smallville), the gorgeous Charisma Carpenter (Buffy, Angel, Veronica Mars) and many, many more - see the Collectormania 11 website for a full list of the stars appearing and more information about every aspect of the show.

Then, the very next weekend, it’s time for…

Where: The British Empire & Commonwealth Exhibition Hall and Ramada Plaza Hotel, Bristol
When: Saturday, 12 May and Sunday, 13 May
Who: Rockjaw, Bridger, Amboss + Draw the World Together artists

Our third visit to the Bristol Comic Expo promises to be the biggest and best yet. As well as the pleasure of meeting Rockjaw, Bridger and Amboss in the flesh (surely worth the trip to Bristol alone), we’ll also have a hand-picked selection of free swag and bargain-priced NCsoft games on offer.

Best of all, though, Draw the World Together has organised a crack team of incredibly talented comic artists who’ll be ready and waiting to produce sketches of your very own characters (or anything else you’d like drawn, for that matter) in return for a charitable donation.

As well as Draw the World Together organiser Andrew Wildman (Transformers, G.I. Joe, The Hulk, Spider-Man), artists such as Mike Collins (Sláine, Batman, Superman), Jamie Sims (Judge Dredd, Rogue Trooper, Aliens), Ian Gibson (Halo Jones, Robo-Hunter), David Lloyd (V for Vendetta, Hellblazer, Global Frequency) and many more will be offering their services over the course of the weekend, so you’ll be spoilt for choice.

As if all that wasn’t enough, you’ll also have a whole exhibition hall full of comics to peruse and famous comic creators to bump into. See the Bristol Comic Expo website for more information - and don’t miss it!

(Please note that while we’re currently trying to arrange internet access for our stand, we cannot yet confirm this, so be sure to bring along colour print-outs of screenshots of your characters or screenshots on a CD/DVD, just in case.)

We look forward to seeing you at either (or both!) of these upcoming shows, whether it’s to ask us that burning question about one of our games, to pick up a bargain, grab some free stuff or just say hello!

Are you aware that the CoH badge colors are wrongly inverted?
