Super Group Spotlight is a regular feature dedicated to taking a closer look at the many and varied Super Groups created by players of both City of Heroes and City of Villains.

Emblem: Heart, and pink/black colours. A full Femmes team is VERY pink!

Founders: Famke, Nursy and a few others.

Leaders: Ace of Diamonds, Pyra, Anath and Caereen.

Origins: Formed as a home for female characters in the game, the Femme Fatales got started when Famke stood in Atlas Park and sent out invites to any appropriately female characters!  We have come a long way since then!

Goals: To have fun, to team together, to create a community feeling both within the SG and within the game.

Activities: We have fun! We actively encourage SG teaming, and coalition teaming – Femmes and Friends teams are truly awesome! PvP isn’t a high priority but we will defend our knicker drawers to our fullest!

Greatest Achievements: To have had the SG running almost since the launch of the game, attracting so many cool people into the SG. It’s like a family. We have also had several ‘real life’ meets, which were a lot of fun.

Base: The Femmes Fatales take advantage of the coalition system to build a base complex spanning its three Super Groups. Boasting all the most glamorous features such as a complete transport pad system, hospitals, base raid facilities and salvage processing units, it provides everything the Super Groups could need - apart from more comprehensive shoe rack options.

Harvest Moon is chief designer and does a superb job.

Future Plans: We have already expanded, with 2 SGs for lower characters (the Femme Academyand the Femme Sorority) plus the evil Fallen Femmes in CoV.  On Union, there is also a version of the Femme Fatales, along with two concept Super Group ideas started by members of the Femmes - the gun-tastic Reservoir Dolls, and the virtuous roleplay team of the Justice Watch.

Recruitment: We generally like to team with people before inviting them to the SG, but it’s always worth having a chat to any of the current leaders in game - Ace of Diamonds, Pyra, Anath or Caereen.
