Despite the best efforts of the foul Lord Recluse and his sidekick Ghost Widow to disrupt the evening, the City of Heroes European Second Anniversary Party on Tuesday night was a great success!

Over 150 heroes and villains from across Europe joined us in Pocket D on the European Training Room to mark the occasion, and to watch the special Anniversary Annihilation RPS Tournament, featuring special guest Grand Master War Witch.

In a series of excellent matches, Darklee and Alrea Flash worked their way through the qualifying rounds, eventually facing each other in a tense and closely-fought final that eventually saw Darklee emerge victorious, 4 games to 3.

With 60 days of Game Time already secured, Darklee went on to face War Witch in a special Grand Master match with 60 days of free Game Time riding on each and every game. War Witch took an early lead, and with the scores at 4 game to 2, things were looking grim for Darklee when he rallied and came back, eventually taking the match 5 games to 4!
