imageWe’re pleased to announce that on 29 September, NCsoft Europe will be releasing a new ‘Good vs. Evil’ Combined Edition of City of Heroes and City of Villains, featuring both games and some unique bonus in-game goodies.

With two award-winning games at a special new low price, there’s never been a better way to enter the world of Paragon City and the Rogue Isles!

For full details, please see our new Combined Edition page. Existing players can also discuss this new edition of our favourite games on the official message boards.

look cool sound cool BUT (there always a but) if already player have both games will they get the bonus stuff anyway without paying if not that really not fair

i tottaly aggre with lee there, we should get it. My mate just got both games just beofre this was anonced and now he cant take them back so this isnt fair. I like the idea though as players have been lacking recently.

Players with both games already will have to purchase an upgrade to get access to the new features. I believe it still comes with a free month.

I totally agree with Lee. Totally!

What If I Have One Game? Can I Still Install The Whole Pack?

2Posted by Bridger on 19 Sep at 10:32

Wings: Yes - if you only have one of the games, you can use the code from the Combined Edition box to upgrade your existing account. This will give you access to both games, the in-game extras from the Combined Edition and 30 days of game time on your account.

Arachnos Commander: It depends - if you buy the boxed version and upgrade an existing account with it, you’ll get a free month as well as the in-game extras. If you purchase an online upgrade code from PlayNC and upgrade an existing account, you’ll only receive the in-game extras.

I dont know what everybody is moaning about, so what we’ll have to pay a little more, just be grateful that (unlike all other MMORPG’s) we havnt had to pay for the simply amazing i1-i7 updates. But i do have a question Bridge, when will be able to purchase theses codes to update our existing accounts? Will it be done through plaync and how much will it cost? ^^ thnx

2Posted by Bridger on 21 Sep at 12:06

Phoenix: The online upgrade codes should be available via PlayNC.com on 29 September (the same day the boxes go on sale). They’ll be £5.99/€8.99.

Any reason why PlayNC doesn’t have the option to buy the code yet?

i got the pack but it wont start up on my pc...i tried going to the cd drive and it says there is no cd.The cd is unscratched and in mint. The store wont let me return it so what is wrong

I want to buy the Good vs. Evil Edition from Play NC but i can’t find it on there to download. None of the stores near me have it though.

2Posted by Bridger on 05 Oct at 14:01

Thnikkamann: At present, the Good vs. Evil Combined Edition is not available to buy online from PlayNC.com.

You can buy City of Heroes and/or City of Villains seperately on PlayNC.com, and in the near future you will be able to buy ‘upgrade codes’ that will grant the in-game items from the Good vs. Evil Combined Edition to an existing account.

If you don’t already have the games, though, the best bet is to get a boxed copy of the Good vs. Evil Combined Edition. It should be available in all major games stores, including GAME, GameStation, HMV and Virgin. If it’s not on the shelf, be sure to ask for it. You can also purchase it from many online retailers, including Amazon, Play.com and Gameplay.

Zin i believe its a dvd not a cd.. you need a dvd-rom drive to run it.
