Absolutely. City of Heroes works particularly well as a team game - although teaming up with other heroes isn’t mandatory, and if you want to skulk around the rooftops as a lone avenger of the night, you can do just that. Don’t blame us if you get lonely.

However, if you want to form a team in game that doesn’t disband when you log off, you can form a supergroup as soon as you hit Security Level 10.

Supergroups have various advantages over normal teams, such as snazzy colour-coordinated duds, a team emblem on their costumes if they want one, and can also use a dedicated chat channel in the game. If you own City of Villains as well as City of Heroes, you can design and build a Base for your Supergroup, and even take part in Base raids, attacking other Baes and defending your own.

Suffice to say, if you have a regular group of gaming chums, you can get them together and bust bad guy heads in City of Heroes.
